One of us had fish and chips, the other jumbo sausages and chips with mushy peas, drinks and bread and butter. All
We visited yesterday for takeaway fish and chips – one of which was gluten-free. The best
For an award-winning fish and chip shop to produce consistently high-quality food for a rapidly moving queue of people is remarkable, Everything is freshly cooked without a store being built up waiting to be bought. Quantities are generous and if you ask for a ‘special’ (£5 when we were there) – supposedly about half the size of a normal portion – you’d be hard-pressed to notice the difference.
Restaurant eaters have the same food as the takeaway clients.Tripadvisor reviewer
Visited this week for the third time over the last three years. Brilliant little fish and chip restaurant and adjacent chip shop. We were served by Kerry who was polite, pleasant and friendly accommodating our various food requests. Food was excellent.
Visit again later in the week, this time to the chip shop. Kerry was serving and recognised me from the earlier visit despite being very busy. She again offered the same friendly, efficient level of service.
We recommend this place unreservedly. Tripadvisor reviewer
